Ingetin Privacy Policy

This is an English translation of the Indonesian privacy policy at https://ingetin.web.app/privasi. If the two differ, the Indonesian version applies.

Ingetin is an app for tracking subscriptions and reminding you before a bill is charged. This policy explains what data the app uses and where that data goes.

Account

To use Ingetin you need to create an account, with Google, Apple, or an email and password. From that account we store:

• your name and email address,
• how you signed up (Google, Apple, or email),
• your password, which Firebase Authentication stores in encrypted form. We can never see your password.

If you sign in with Apple and choose "Hide My Email", we only receive the relay email address from Apple.

Subscription data you enter

Service names, prices, currencies, billing cycles, billing dates, categories, exchange rates, reminder settings, and your language preference are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), so your data syncs across every device that uses the same account. A copy is also kept on your phone so the app works without internet.

This data can only be read by your own account. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

If you mark a subscription as a free trial, that status is stored with the subscription data above.

Wallet: accounts and transactions

In the Wallet tab you can record accounts (name, type, and a balance you type yourself), income, expense, and transfer transactions (amount, category, date, note), and budgets per category. This data is stored in Cloud Firestore together with your subscription data and can only be read by your own account.

Ingetin does not connect to any bank or e-wallet. We never ask for your account number, PIN, online banking password, or OTP code, and we cannot move your money. If someone claims to be from Ingetin and asks for this information, ignore them.

Crash reports

If the app runs into an error, a technical report is sent automatically to Google's Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix it. The report contains:

• a technical trace of the error (the part of the code that failed),
• your phone model, operating system, and app version,
• a random installation ID from Crashlytics.

The report does not contain your name, email, or subscription data. Firebase's privacy policy is available at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Feedback you send

If you use Send feedback, we store your message, your account ID and email (so we can reply), app version, phone model, operating system, number of subscriptions recorded, and Pro status. This data is stored in Cloud Firestore and is only read by the developer to improve the app.

Reviews

If you write a review in Pro & Account → Write a review, we store the rating, review text, the display name you choose, and your account ID. After we check and approve it, the rating, review text, and display name can be seen publicly on the Ingetin home page. Your email and account ID are not shown. You can change your review or ask for it to be deleted at any time.

Screenshot import and exchange rates

When you import subscriptions from a screenshot, the image is read on your phone with Google ML Kit and is not sent to our servers. Exchange rates are fetched from public rate services (Frankfurter/ECB or ExchangeRate-API) without sending any personal data.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app: open the Pro tab, then choose Account > Delete account. Your account and all subscription, account, and transaction data in the cloud are permanently deleted. Feedback you have sent can also be deleted on request. An active Pro subscription must be cancelled separately in Google Play or the App Store.

Notifications

Bill reminders are scheduled directly on your phone. We do not send notifications from a server. You can revoke notification permission at any time in your phone settings.

Ingetin Pro purchases

Pro payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive your card number or payment details.

To check whether your Pro subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives:

• your Ingetin account ID (a random code that does not contain your name or email),
• purchase history and subscription status from the app store,
• basic device information, such as the operating system and app version.

This data is used only to activate and restore Pro. RevenueCat notifies the Ingetin server whenever a subscription changes, and the server then stores the Pro status and end date in your account so Pro also unlocks on the web. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not show ads or use ad trackers.
• We do not ask for your phone number, contacts, or location.

Children

Ingetin is not intended for children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, for example when we add reminders by email or WhatsApp that require a server, the new version will be announced on this page and in the app's release notes before the feature goes live.
